Registration online comes to us first, members do not receive passwords from the site. We do not issue any passwords to members that register without verifying that they are a Pool/Spa Leisure trade professional. The first step we take is that a member must be referred by an authorized agent of ours, these agents are located across 50 states issuing a unique authorization code that is required when registering online. If a member doesn’t have a code, then we do a Google search on their company name, phone number, email and address to verify them. If we can’t find information on the internet we ask that they send us proof of insurance, retail or contractors license along with any trade industry memberships. What is keeping consumers from registering and purchasing product for their own needs? I was able to register with no problems, which was great for me but I can see how a consumer can do just the same. What is being required to ensure that individuals using the site are legitimate? I only ask because I can foresee how a site like this could really damage different businesses throughout the supply chain. On a lighter note.
